For LGBT month, it seemed important to me to talk about the love of my life through my photos. He is the one who inspires me the most, the one I never miss when it comes to taking pictures. His love and strength makes him my muse. Even if life has not always been kind to us (and especially lately), it will always be there for me and I'll always be there for him.

My girlfriend went to Belitung islands in Sumatra, Indonesia, and I lent her my SuperSampler camera to accompany her. Let’s see what she captured!

It's April and yesterday it was still snowing here. Yes, really. I don't even live on the North Pole. It was snowing here, in Slovenia, in the middle of Europe, in times when spring should already be in full bloom.

As a video journalist for University of California I tend to travel all over the state visiting interesting people who are doing innovative research. I always have my Canon 5D Mark iii on hand and my field recorder to do my interviews. Recently, I decided to also bring along my Nikon FG-20 and expired 35mm film that I bought through the Lomography Shop. So far, the outcome has been really interesting and hopefully this will be one of many future posts about my travels through the golden state.

So I called this Faux-MX because the double-layer synonymous with MX is what you think of when laying eyes upon the resulting image. Though the image in question isn't born within an analogue camera's womb, I was inspired by the unconventional union of two analogue-terrific images!

When you're thinking of engaging in a photo-project, you're probably thinking something short-term like going out and photographing a stranger's closeup or spending one fine evening light-painting. How about a never ending project? After the jump, discover how re-photographing the same object and location can yield very different results and the hobby spun out of it.

Many of you will have a white Christmas, but in Hawaii we opt for a bright Christmas.

One of my favourite techniques, no matter the subject matter, is creating silhouettes. Some of my favourite fall photos were taken as silhouettes and I will share with you how I created them so hopefully you will be able to create some for yourself this season!

As I said in the first part, lately, my breaks tend to be accompanied by nature and far from big cities. It's what I have all day. In this second part, we go further to the North, specifically, to the Monasterio de Piedra in Nuévalos, a small town in the province of Zaragoza (Spain).

I have been living in Leuven, Belgium, for close to 5 years now and the Botanic Garden has been one of my favorite spots along the years. Every season is different. Every month there's something new. It's a true living space. And it's a sweet quiet place to relax, making me forget that I actually live in a busy and lively Belgian city.

I arrived at the ancient city of Pegan in Burma (Myanmar) from Mandalay. My overloaded bus pulled up a dusty unsealed road and stopped outside a ramshackle hotel. It was hard to believe that Pegan was one of the premier tourist sights in South East Asia.

Taking photos of the same scene is a great way to understand how different cameras and films work. Here is a photographic journey of a few trees on Hampstead Heath.

This is a review of the camera used for week 3 of the "30 Weeks, 30 Cams" series. The camera a, Revueflex-B, is nothing but a Zenit-B sold by a German department store chain under another name. Read on how I got this SLR camera produced in Russia and how it handles.

After receiving my film scans today and browsed them, I realized that I had this weird fixation for 3 months. Picture after picture, same photos and angles I saw from hundreds of scans = windows, trees, sky, and roofs.

Thanks to Lomography and Seoul Tourism Organization I spent six days in Seoul with my friend kelmort. Gyeongbokgung Palace was the first place we went sightseeing. We spent almost 4 hours visiting the whole palace complex.

Being in the flat prairies in the middle of Canada, and having a large amount of snow in winter. Flooding is a more than likely occurrence. Living on a farm with cows makes this a challenging time to be a farmer, but with great opportunities to take great photo's. I carry my Nikon FM SLR around all the time while out doing chores and just walking the land.
