Let me share with you my story about spending a holiday in a remote island town with pristine white sand beach and charming locals! At these times, travelers head off to Boracay or Palawan, two of the most popular beach destinations in the Philippines.

You spend your holidays at the beach? Enjoy and bathe in the sun and then refresh yourself in the water? Well, that´s what most people do on the beach. Not me. Almost every time I travel to a beach I do this to do sports: I play Beach Ultimate. - Ultimate Frisbee played on the beach. Last year in August I played at the World Championships of Beach Ultimate in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy. Read on how hard it is to run in the sun when everyone else on the beach is looking for shadow.

Creating a whole new world where land and water collides is now just a few clicks and tricks away. This is my experiment on loading a Kodak Ektachrome 100 GX on an underwater camera then loading it on an LC-A+ for doubles.

Most of us gravitate to the larger, more glamorous things - the latest iPhone, the sleekest cars, the hottest boy toy....but when it comes to beaches, it seems as if even the smaller, less fabricated ones are the most fun. Whenever I go to a beach I never just lie down and start tanning. I get bored. I go and wander about exploring. In Scotland, tanning is very rarely an option; if we had sun all year round I might be content to just lie in the heat. When I’m at a beach I love the sound of the sea and the feel of the sand. Here are some interesting shorelines I’ve been to and the sorts of things I’ve seen.

My favorite resort and beach on Oahu is called the Ko Olina Resort (Marriott), located on the west side of the island. It's got beautiful hotels but the star of the area is the Ko Olina's man-made lagoon beaches with pure white sand and sunny skies.

Coney Island may be famous for its amusement park, but a stroll along its boardwalk by the beach is also relaxing and you get to enjoy the sea breeze and meet some interesting people. When I visited Coney Island in late April, I quickly fell in love with the place. There's something both magical and nostalgic about it which I can't explain.
