There are some ruins scattered all over Taiwan. Nobody knows how long they will last, so I shall take more photos of them.

Heysham is a village just outside Lancaster that overlooks Morecambe Bay. The village is probably most famous for its port and nuclear power plants; however once you look past those, the village also has amazing history and heritage as well as gorgeous coastlines.

Set on the western corner of the island of Sicily, about fifteen minutes north of the modern town of Poggioreale, are the ruins of the old town of Poggioreale. Destroyed in the 1968 earthquake, the ruins are now overgrown, open to visitors, and well worth a wander.

The famous ruins is a must-visit whenever you go to Bacolod, Negros Occidental, Philippines. It showcases what is left of the Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson Ancestral Home, a rich sugar baron. The mansion was the largest residential structure ever built there. Sometimes considered as the city's Taj Mahal because it was said to be built for his beloved wife, Maria Braga, a Portuguese from Macau whom he met during one of his vacations in Hong Kong.

Tiny Meski Oasis in Morocco isn't well known. In fact, it isn't even mentioned in any travel guide or has many hits on Google. However if you happen to be passing by, be sure to allow yourself a few hours to enjoy the views over the oasis from a royal height.

About 45km north of Zamora are the ruins of one of the most powerful medieval Spanish Cistercian monasteries, the Monastery of Santa Maria de Moreruela. Walking through the silent ruins is like being instantly transported back to the thirteenth century.

Sintra was classified as a World Heritage by UNESCO, in 1995, at the category of Cultural Landscape. Lord Byron called it "a Garden of the Earthly Paradise". Sintra is a gem of the Lisbon surrounding mountains. Feel free to browse some of the photos I took when I was there!
