Can a poem explain spring?

Winter is grey, at least in the north. With the cold and bare trees, Lorenzo decided to come and from the thin branches of a bare tree comes an explosion of color. If you have your camera with you will not be able to resist and you will take a picture. In any other case, you will go running to take any camera.

Sometimes you really have to spend some time to experiment with your analogue camera to learn what its limits are. Here’s what I learned about the Olympus Trip 35.

Staying at home could be comforting, relaxing and maybe boring. Going outside and saying hello to the sun seems like a great activity for every lomographer out there. Doing photo walks on my own is a quiet activity that I do often since I began in 2007, whether in my hometown Bandung or doing it during my travels. I often do photo walks, but going solo for photo walks? No problem! My analogue days are filled with super solo photo walks for years!

Question: How do I incorporate analogue in my life aside from shooting film? Answer: Photo Journalling.

Here's the part two of my lengthy but hopefully extensive review of Lomography's Belair x 6-12.

The long winter is almost over! A few more weeks and it will be spring! Although here in Como the weather is still cold, I invite you to explore some small but delightful oasis of green in my town, where I like to stay to relax and to meet old and new friends in the springtime!

Who doesn’t love the weekend? Everybody loves the weekend! Some people love to party during weekends, some love to just stay at home and rest, but some, like me, make the best out of the two free days to go out and shoot.

Up here in the North, we like to escape the cold during spring break and head south to warmer climates. If you have kids, there may be no better place than Florida and the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

For this memorable mixtape post, I am going to look at my own modern equivalent of the classic "mixtape" and something that I listen to every day.

As you know from my previous articles, I love swimming, I love being in the water, and I love being outdoors. And this year, for my spring and Easter break, I don't need to go very far because just a few miles from my house, there is a small lake on which one can go canoeing -- a "paradise" for amateur and sports club members.

There are moments when you know only a roll of redscale film will do. This moment presented itself when I had the rare privilege of being up close and personal with a horse -- and I live in a city.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday...and yeah! It's finally weekend, which are my analogue days. With my favorite analogue cameraa and films, I make the weekends shine.

Adding yet another camera to your collection is always fun and exciting. As your collection keeps growing the problem becomes finding a proper place to store them. My camera collection found a beautiful home in my liquor cabinet.

A perfect combination between a camera and a film doesn’t necessarily mean the team gets on well. Nevertheless, this one I’m writing about goes beyond a team concept and makes it a true love story that started years ago and had its revival by summer 2012: the last Electro 35 series + first Samsung’s Corporation film adventure.

If you live in Northwestern Italy and need a small break from city life, then Liguria is the go-to option! The small town of Laigueglia there is there perfect place to relax and enjoy a weekend of sun, sand and sea.

Especially for city-dwellers, a fast-paced lifestyle has made our digital 'companions' necessities in our daily routine. By injecting a little analogue in our life, we get to slow down and enjoy the little things in life. For me, it's books and cameras!

What do you do when it rains as you make your way to work (or to school)? Just shoot what you see and learn from your photos what to do and not do the next time it rains.

Even if you have a ton of cameras and films to experiment with, we all have a perfect combo of camera/film to love. Here's mine!
