Spring break is the perfect time to get away from it all for a while. Away from your daily routine, away from your office, away from the colleagues you see every single day… Or maybe not the latter! Years ago, when I was still working on my PhD, we decided to take a spring break together. And when one of my colleagues suggested we could go explore his home country, we all ran home to pack our bags and headed of to Morocco!

Home. I started it all at my home, whether to test a camera or just documenting my daily life. Home is where I spent my days and in the past few months, I started to use a pinhole camera which is Diana Multi-Pinhole Operator. So it's fair to say that my pinhole playground is my one and only home. I just love it!

APS film or Advanced Photo System is a discontinued film type that was fairly common at the end of the 90s. The negatives are kept inside the cartridge, even after development. It's a tiny and fiddly film to work with, but the smartphone film scanner makes scanning this film an easy job!

Every year, there is a great fun fair in my city, Como, in the period between the third week of March and the second week of April. There are many carousels and stalls and entertainment for all ages. Even this year, I took some photos of this public event, in a solo photowalk, tasting some of my preferred rides.

This year's spring is not coming in the North of Italy. At the beginning of April we have rain, cloudy days, cold weather. So, just after the Easter holidays, I decided to make a short visit on the East Coast of the Sicily, with a day trip in the town of Taormina. Here, I took many photos using my Olympus 35 RC camera.
