For that day, we owned one private, beautiful island. It was probably the most beautiful beach I have ever been to. Indeed, it's an island, but a really small one. It's sand was white but it wasn't the finest. It's water was clear but it wasn't the bluest.. But what made the difference was, that it was ours!!!

I spent two nights at the floating islands of the Uros people, 3810 m from the sea level in the Lake Titicaca. Staying at “Kamisaraki Inn” was one of the highlights of my trip to Peru!

In the northern hemisphere we are having a real winter this year! Although snow can be a nice change its not hard to miss the summer warmth, especially when one sees such beautiful pictures from yet another heavenly location in the Philippines! Located in the northernmost part of the archipelago, Batanes is about 190 kilometers away from Taiwan. For a long time I dreamed of going there but I just couldn't save enough funds for it.
