Skipton used to be mine and the other half's go-to date spot. I don't know what it is about the quaint little town that we have always loved so much. This time when we visited, it was for an afternoon of shopping in the springtime sun.

Although it isn't a very large city, Salzburg has a lot to offer. We went there on a beautiful day in December to check out the Christmas market. I brought my LC-A+ and some black & white film and shot some of my very favorite photos of 2011.

Apart from Aidilfitri, the festival most grandly celebrated by Muslims all over the world is Aidiladha. In Malaysia, it is more commonly known as Hari Raya Korban or Hari Raya Haji. Celebrated about two months after Aidilfitri, on the 10th day of Zulhijah, the 12th month of the Muslim calendar, it marks the end of the haj pilgrimage period (about two weeks) hence the name Hari Raya Haji (festival of the pilgrimage).
