Visita Iglesia is a century-old tradition in the Philippines which involves visiting churches and holy places for prayer and part of that is attending mass. This place is one of the top Lenten destinations and it is where you can find the largest life-sized image of Jesus Christ on top of a mountain with his hands open wide. This place is called, Kamay ni Hesus.

Every January 9th of the year, millions of Catholics flock to Quiapo to celebrate the Feast of the Black Nazarene. In four years I was there thrice to document atleast a thousand of these devotees. And I promise to shoot more next year.
