They say that you shouldn't take your wallet in these streets or park your car nearby, cause there is a chance that you'd get pick pocketed and someone will steal the tires off your car. Interested? Surely made me interested as hell, so Partha, Anondo and I went off to Mutton Street.

Located in the province of Pinchicha, Quito is the capital of Ecuador. It is a seemingly small capital, but with an incredible colonial architecture found in almost all the streets, several tourist information points, there are also many points to observe the city from the top, and one with a mechanical park beside it.

Like most of you know now, I moved this summer from Nice (metropolitan France) to Raiatea (French Polynesia). Of course, during the travel I had my LC-A+ and my supersampler always with me... Let me tell you the story of this great travel to the other side of the world...

I asked myself what kind of new place I could shoot in my town to share with the Lomo community and thought about the fact hat locations are all about traveling and discovery....hmmm ... what kind of place can represent the travel spirit before you arrive in a new place: a railway station of course!!

Do you love castles? Do you love places where you can have breathtaking panoramic views over the sea? Do you ove parcs where you can walk during hours far away from the city and the urban noise? I really do love all this, so let's go to discover the Castle and hill of Mt Boron, near of Nice! :))

What is a "Baou"?? In the provincial dialect (that means spoken mostly in the south-east part of France) it means "mountain peak" and there are 2 beautiful ones not so far from Nice, called "Baou of St Jeannet" and his twin the "Baou of La Gaude". Let's discover the first one! :)

Large luminous statues shining in the sky above the square.

The pier of Nice is one of my favorite place to shoot: a beautiful place, the sea, boats & ferries, people, well, a perfect place to make pictures! The pier of Nice is located at the entry of the port and is a fascinating place to have a walk, meet with friends, have some nice time to sit down to look at the sea and the boats...

The "Square Head" is a sculpture by the french artist Sacha Sosno, and it is also the very first giant sculpture to have been transformed in a habitable building.

In Nice the funfair takes place around Christmas, outdoor and indoor : here in the South of France, people don't like cold weather and don't want to stay outside a long time when the temperature in under 10°C.

The port of Nice is one of my favorite place to shoot. It's a very inspiring place, not only because it's a wide open space in front of the sea, but also because there are always a lot of new big ships to see, prestigious old sailboats or impressing giant cruisers.

You can find war memorials everywhere in France, every city or village has their own and they were mostly built after the WW1, as young people from everywhere in France died during this terrible war or collective massacre (over 1,5 million french victims and over 9 million victims in all...!)

When the summertime arrives, you almost have no chance to find a place on the main beaches of Nice, and perhaps on the whole Cote d'Azur: overcrowded with people, you must be lucky to find a square meter place to sit down...

One of the main charms of Nice (besides the sea, of course) is the old city, "la vielle ville" or "vieux Nice" like the people here call it. It's a typical old Mediterranean city from the middle ages which has supported very few modifications since the 15th century (at least). As it is a main tourist attraction, there's a regular effort of the city to maintain in good state the architectural heritage of this old city and the whole area is really in a very good conservation state.

The "Villa Arson" in Nice is a famous modern art school of the city. The place is a mixture of modern architecture mixed with an old 18th century building and a beautiful Mediterranean garden.
