This will work with any camera with variable aperture, but here are some tips (some learned the hard way) on how to shoot on those blazingly sunny, blue sky days.

Calumet is an odd hybrid of a town: both historic and functional, dying and vibrant, a conundrum with excellent restaurants.

I feel happy and excited when I view all those "jump" photos by our beloved lomographers. Why do I like those photos? The reason is simple: because I can feel their happiness and their great moments wherever they are. I guess, this is one of the great things about photo sharing. Share your happiness with others through photographs!

Sometimes you really have to spend some time to experiment with your analogue camera to learn what its limits are. Here’s what I learned about the Olympus Trip 35.

My thoughts on the Sunset Strip cross processed, after using it outdoors on a sunny day, and indoors with flash!
Grainy? Check. Warm? Perhaps. Cool? Perhaps.
Unpredictable? Check!

Canada Day, celebrated on July 1st, marks the anniversary of the Constitution Act of 1867, which united three British colonies into one country. The start of the summer season is a great time to celebrate national pride.

Hello there, you just caught this day’s flash rumble, talk about good timing! Why? Because our current theme today has got something to do with the importance of being prompt!

It has just begun! It’s finally here, so prepare your shots as this is going to run for much quicker than a blink! Have them submitted before this rumble ends!

Unlike the concrete jungle of Singapore, Pulau Ubin, or 'Granite island', is a little island off the north-eastern shores of Singapore, where things are kept quaint and rustic. To get to the island, one must first take a boat from the Changi Ferry terminal. The boat ride is short but the water's usually choppy, and it's great fun to sit with friends out on the deck, basking in the sun and enjoying the smell of the sea water.

Most of us gravitate to the larger, more glamorous things - the latest iPhone, the sleekest cars, the hottest boy toy....but when it comes to beaches, it seems as if even the smaller, less fabricated ones are the most fun. Kawaikui Beach Park is a great, little beach and park that is a personal favorite.

I recently purchased a pack of expired Kodak E100VS 120 film from the Toronto Lomography Store. If you are a fan of blue, this is a film for you.

If you are a hardcore Holga fan or have already taken the time to look up some sites featuring Holga mods and hacks (or to take apart your camera for that matter), you will know that the Holga, despite sporting a switch for two different aperture settings for sunny and cloudy conditions, only features one aperture. This is due to the fact that switching from cloudy to sunny causes an arm to slide in front of the lens opening, the area of the hole on that arm (which is supposed to allow less light in) is larger than that of the aperture; i.e. the amount of light remains the same.

Lomography CN 100 is definitely your best companion for outdoor shooting. With the affordable price, you can always go out with it. Don't think, just shoot!

Having a bright sunny day is the one thing which we lomographers would ask for. So here I am going to introduce another place where you can get great lomo shots. It is Marina Barrage, a dam which was built in 2008 as the fifteenth reservoir in Singapore. It is located at 8 Marina Gardens Drive Singapore 018951.

A Scottish road trip which runs from Stirling Castle to the Wallace Monument then the Loch Lomond! My best friend and her boyfriend who were working in Germany came and visited me in Edinburgh when I was studying there. We rented a car and went on a road trip on a sunny autumn day. My housemate joined us too!

Goa has been known to be a party town, with beaches and lovely places to hang about and have fun. Goa has a classic small town feel, which says "susegad".
