This is the largest traditional market in the city. It is located near the South Gate of the city, also called Namdaemun. There are hundreds of shops and stalls that fill the streets and alleys with thousand of colors.

Skipton used to be mine and the other half's go-to date spot. I don't know what it is about the quaint little town that we have always loved so much. This time when we visited, it was for an afternoon of shopping in the springtime sun.

To take pictures, we need our cameras but without films, we can't do anything. Nowadays, prices have soared and the same people who today, take all our money, in the past they gave us the option of getting free films or albums.

This street is known as the place you have to visit to buy typical souvenirs. But that isn't all you can find here. There are plenty of restaurants and traditional teashops where you feel like you're in the past.

North Cross Road always had one or two odd and interesting shops but it is now becoming a bit of a mecca for those in the area to visit on a Friday or especially a weekend. Here, you will find a melting pot of vintage, designer, junk, vinyl, CDs, galleries, food, café culture, welcoming pubs and coffee houses...somewhere to spend a relaxing Saturday lunchtime!

Almost hidden from view when you're walking down Oxford Street is a great place for an escape from the overcrowded streets of London's busy West End.
