You spend your holidays at the beach? Enjoy and bathe in the sun and then refresh yourself in the water? Well, that´s what most people do on the beach. Not me. Almost every time I travel to a beach I do this to do sports: I play Beach Ultimate. - Ultimate Frisbee played on the beach. Last year in August I played at the World Championships of Beach Ultimate in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy. Read on how hard it is to run in the sun when everyone else on the beach is looking for shadow.

Creating a whole new world where land and water collides is now just a few clicks and tricks away. This is my experiment on loading a Kodak Ektachrome 100 GX on an underwater camera then loading it on an LC-A+ for doubles.

Whenever I go to a beach I never just lie down and start tanning. I get bored. I go and wander about exploring. In Scotland, tanning is very rarely an option; if we had sun all year round I might be content to just lie in the heat. When I’m at a beach I love the sound of the sea and the feel of the sand. Here are some interesting shorelines I’ve been to and the sorts of things I’ve seen.

Summer season means time for a beach escape. But for this year, it seemed like this was the busiest year, work-wise. So my friends and I forgot to make reservations, even worst, we forgot to talk or plan anything for the summer. This didn't stop us from going though.

Being new to the whole idea of Lomography, it was only recently, when the La Sardina Quadrat came into my life that I was able to finally enjoy and document my life. The beachside town of Terrigal is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. Cornwall is surely one of the busiest tourist destinations in Britain. Miles of sandy beaches and rocky coves, picturesque fishing villages, and serious surf spots see to that. But there is a forgotten corner of Cornwall overlooked by many tourists on their way to the Newquay or St Ives. Whitsand Bay is one part of it.

Sprocketed photos always shout to me (and others) that they're taken using 35mm film! Raw, undefined, and looks super great in almost all photos. Since the launch of Sprocket Rocket, I have never traveled without it! Landscapes, portraits, and moving vehicles are my best shots with the Sprocket Rocket. I do wedding shoots in sprockets too!

Probably most of us who will be making an article of our most memorable travel escapades will be writing about our summer vacations. Why not, it’s the most fun and stress-free season in my book. Just by the sight of the sun rising or setting on the beach, makes all the long travels worthwhile.

I got my first lomo camera (LC-A+) in May of 2011 and I have already gone to Newport Beach a total of three times since then! It is always an excellent source of great lomographs and it always feels like summer when you are there. The essence of California is in it's beaches

Zandvoort is a beautiful place at the coast of the Netherlands. It’s only about 20 minutes away from Amsterdam. I remember the visits we made here when I was still a kid, back when Zandvoort was the beach for people who had little less to spend. Currently Zandvoort is more of a hip place where everyone can be found though.
