Sun bathing all day, water activities everywhere, and party all night would just be an understatement for Boracay Island. A must-see, white-sand, tropical island near the heart of the Philippines, especially during the summer months.

The beaches of Ujung Genteng come together in a point so you can actually watch the sun rise on one side and set on the other. There are also the ruins of an old Japanese fort on one of the beach areas, set amidst white, powdery sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters.

The Carnival is arriving…Welcome to Rio, la Cidade Maravilhosa, where seven millions of Cariocas live crowed with the best urban panorama of the world on the background, between the ocean and the rain forest. Cariocas pursue pleasure more than any people in the world. Joie de vivre , music, dance.

"a-l-b-e-r-t-o":http://beta.lomography.com/homes/-a-l-b-e-r-t-o- discovered an island in the mouth of Amazon river. Bikes footballs and buffaloes fill the streets of this isolated and to a large extent uninhabited place on earth. A truly wonderful location with plenty of pictures to make our eyes drool, "a-l-b-e-r-t-o":http://beta.lomography.com/homes/-a-l-b-e-r-t-o- takes home this weeks award. Congratulations!

Kariwunjawa Islands consists of 27 little island, it is located in the north side of Central Java, Indonesia (on the map I marked Jepara, it's actually the white dots on the north of it).

This dried up riverbed is somewhat out of place in this suburb. Nonetheless its a great spot for taking photos of its almost undisturbed ecosystem. During the rainy season its a river but the rest of the year its almost desert-like.
