I've fallen for the Cologne Zoo. The reason is quite simple: it's a real eye-catcher!

This is for all of you Lomographers who are looking for a place with a spectacular view over one of my favourite cities which is Cologne. Most of the tourists who visit Cologne walk along the Rhine River, take a couple of pictures of the wonderful cathedral (the "Dom") and have a few "kölsch"-beers.
-
Visit us at the PHOTOKINA 2010: 21-9 − 26-9-2010! Set your creativity free at our spacious 500m² booth, apply for the LomoWorldMap project to get a free camera or just chat and party with Lomographers from all over the World. See you there!

The Aachener Weiher is close to the city centre of Cologne. It's a small pond with some trees and green space around, but also very close to a street.

"Enjoy an expedition through 3,000 years of chocolate history, either in reality by coming to the Chocolate Museum in the heart of Cologne" - this is what you get, when you walk in the riverside in Koln and stop just in front of the ship-like place, called the Chocolate museum.
-
I am not sure if I am correct, but a lot of natives call this THING not the cathedral, but simply the Dom. And this is not a simple cathedral nor a church it is a huge and massive and saint building, that captured my breath after the first eye-glance.

Koln, or Cologne, is the number 4 city in Germany, so it is natural, that it has something extra for every Lomographer, visiting this beautiful city. Start from getting there - I find "die Bahn" railway service very good, so I did come to Köln by train.
