These may seem like computer-generated color gradients but, if you look closer, you'll see that they are actually stunning portraits of sunrises and sunsets, photographed by Eric Cahan using colored resin filters. See more windows of warmth, like the Fisheye One Cherry & Vanilla, below!

Being new to the whole idea of Lomography, it was only recently, when the La Sardina Quadrat came into my life that I was able to finally enjoy and document my life. This, combined with the beautiful textures and colors of the beach in summer lead to this exciting example of a day at the beach in summer

The Dieng Plateau is a caldera complex formed after an eruption of Mt. Prau. The caldera was once full of water which then dried up. However, volcanic activity continues to this day as you can find sulfuric fumes and poisonous lakes in the area. Located at an altitude of 2000m, the temperature here is also much cooler compared to the surrounding lowlands. The ancient Javanese Hindus built temples here and hailed Dieng Plateau as a sacred place.

Las Vegas may be known as "the city that never sleeps," but let me assure you that when the sun peeks up over the horizon, the city is pretty quiet -- and beautiful. Most people know Vegas only for the bright neon lights and the party atmosphere, but on a recent trip, I woke up just as the sun was rising over Las Vegas Blvd

As for the LC-A race location at least one is needed to be about "Night and Music Delirium (bar, view, park)" I thought myself, wow, this one will be hard to find for my stage locations about Raiatea Island..... let's say it short: there is absolutely NO NIGHTLIFE on Raiatea.... :( But perhaps I could find a good place to shoot at night...?

My day started at 4.00am. Woke up, freshen up, then I'm all ready to do some little exercise. We are headed to Semenyih, a town near Kajang which is roughly 40mins away from my home.

As a special homage to Japan, we are looking for pictures that represent the Land of the Rising Sun. Pictures of sunrises? Great! But let's open it up a bit! The colourful streets of Shibuya. The serenity of Mt. Fuji. It's your call - as long as they fit into the Rising Sun theme!

My apartment has two views. A sunrise on the east and a sunset on the west. This has been a sanctuary for me when i come home from work. I have a small potted cacti garden on my balcony where i write, smoke, draw and eat pasta.

I have a bit of a bad habit of documenting most things I do with a camera.. at least one photo relevant to something I do/have done! well I cycle to work everyday and Im proud of myself when I say it's 7 mile a day! I have a lovely purple ladies cycle with a basket on the front and a luggage carrier on the rear and to be totally honest - I LOVE it. I get to have some me time with my cameras.

It's a memorable location here in Pantai Cahaya Bulan or as so called PCB, 10 km South from Kota Bharu centre, which I reckon it's not far from town for driving, probably takes around 15 minutes, because the road is quite narrow.

I went to visit an old friend in Colorado this year. She lives in a cabin in the Rockies in Evergreen. We hung out in her secluded house with her kids and her dog for a whole weekend just watching movies and catching up.
