Webo29 gives a cliche, realistic twist on a whirlwind tour of the ferry which takes you from Malta to Gozo.

In a few months' time, Malta will face a huge public transport reform. The central bus terminus in Valletta together with its contents: vintage buses of all shapes, makes, and sizes will soon disappear into a distant memory.
-
Transmilenio is our capital pride! All of us (Colombinas) love this 'bus', it is a rapid transit (BRT) system, designed and implemented according to the following principles: quality and consistency, affordability, respect for life, respect for users' time, and respect for human diversity.

One of the things I miss most about Chicago is the awesome public transportation, and the "L" can really get you anywhere you need to go. It is the equivalent to a subway system, except it is above ground for most of the tracks. It's the best way to go on an adventure, and also the best way to get lost! This is a good thing.

I was at a conference for a few days near the O'Hare airport. Like a lot of large cities, Chicago's airport is quite a trip from downtown Chicago, and thrifty travelers know the best way from O'Hare to downtown is on the Blue Line.

The Light Rail Transit is Metro Manila's first metro wide train network. An afternoon and an LCA could surely make for an interesting afternoon.

Driver less trains and stations that look like the setting of sci-fi movie, welcome to Copenhagen Metro lines M1 & M2...

The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco is one of the most iconic bridges in the world.

Nørreport Station is in the center of Copenhagen and fully subterranean. It has three platforms: Metro, S-trains (greater Copenhagen metropolitan area), and regional- and InterCity trains (throughout the country). It's the busiest station in Denmark - approximately 300000 people travel through every day. Currently, it's the only station that connects to both the Metro and regional train networks.

Santa Justa Lift is an Eiffel Tower-like structure located in Lisbon's downtown.

Gazing out my window as the plane rounded the tarmac, the first thing that caught my eye at this modern airport were the interlace of steel that roofed the terminals. Upon entering, the extensive, bright and airy interior embraces everyone with distinct local hospitality: "Welcome to Thailand!"

Public transport in Wuppertal is a unique experience, and also quite an adventure, especially if you're scared of heights. To get in and out of the swaying carriages of the Schwebebahn („floating train“) takes a bit of strong nerves but you'll be rewarded with a fun ride and (more or less) exclusive views into people's backyards – keep your camera ready!

The port of Nice is one of my favorite place to shoot. It's a very inspiring place, not only because it's a wide open space in front of the sea, but also because there are always a lot of new big ships to see, prestigious old sailboats or impressing giant cruisers.

Not all too trustful of the tuk-tuks? In Thailand's congested capital, the efficient transport backbone is the Bangkok Mass Transit System (BTS) Skytrain, which was opened to the public in 1999 and currently undergoing expansion. Modeled after Vancouver's, this elevated rail system runs through 23 stations along two lines- Silom and Sukhumvit-that tangentially interchange at Siam Station.

While I write this story I am sitting in a regional Spanish train. He will take around two hours for a distance of around 200 kilometer from Valencia to Alicante. No comparison to the undisputed heavyweight champion of the rail-racing world: The Shinkansen.
