We visited Taichung over the long weekend back in February and my friends decided to make the trip to a private plot of cherry trees that was kindly made public by the owner for the first time this year. There are other famous cherry blossoms viewing spots in Taiwan, for example: Yangminshan National Park, Wuling Farm and Alishan Forest but they are usually way too crowded during the peak of blooming.
