If you’re looking for a way to spice up your photography, why don’t you try infrared film? You can achieve results that will surely take your breath away.

Infrared film records visible light as well as ultraviolet and infrared radiation. The higher the infrared level, the lighter your subject appears. This stunning effect is most evident when photographing landscapes—leaves and foliage are bathed in white while the sky and water turn dark. Many people also use infrared film for portraiture, fashion, and fine art photography because it enhances textures and contrasts.

Using infrared film is a great way to add a soft glow to your shots, especially when paired with a red filter. Just be sure to load your film in total darkness because it is super sensitive. Infrared films are available in our Online Shop.
