Mabuhay, Lomographers! This week, we’ve got Aaron from the Lomography Online office in Manila who shares with us this breathtaking vacation photo shot with the Lomography LC-Wide! He also tried out the new Belair X 6-12 so be sure to check out his LomoHome!
What you do at Lomography: I’m the Digital Agency Manager for Lomography, so I take care of online campaigns and launches from concept to your screen. Of course, I do it together with a great and (sometimes wacky) bunch of people!
Interests: I’m a big art film buff. I also love to travel, listen to really dated music and learn new things everyday.
Which Lomography product would you recommend to readers? I would highly suggest getting an LC-Wide!
Why? You just can’t let it go :) Superior optics, very easy controls and amazing photos – what could you ask for? It’s a pretty penny compared to the other cameras we have in the lineup, but totally worth it!
Please attach a picture of yourself taken with a Lomography camera or Lomography film and tell us something about this picture!
This is me on a recent trip to Batanes, located at the northernmost part of the Philippines. It’s actually closer to Taiwan. Amazing, amazing culture and everyone was so nice there! I really wasn’t expecting the photos to turn out as great since the place is known to be ‘The Land of the Winds’, but the Lomo LC-Wide totally delivered beyond what I was expecting. I used expired Elitechrome film for this one.
Your message to Lomographers: I don’t want to sound like a cliché, but: Don’t Think, Just Shoot!
Thanks for tip, Aaron! Now we know which analogue cameras to pack next time we travel. ;-)
