Today’s staff pick is someone whom our Texas community members may have met during their store visits. It’s Lindsay Hutchens, the bubbly Ambassador/Shop Manager at the Lomography Gallery Store, Austin. Let’s check out her responses:

Which Lomography product would you recommend to readers? The Lubitel 166+
Why? It’s the most beautiful camera we own, and I fell in love with its shooting style. I like taking things slow, and being a bit more introverted and voyeuristic… quintessential characteristics of any TLR. What’s special about the Lubitel 166+, is that simple little features like the notched major focus distances, and the exposure guide useful for quick lighting changes, still gives it the intuitive Lomographic touch that lends to faster shooting for my inevitable bursts of extrovertism.
Please attach a picture of yourself taken with a Lomography camera or Lomography film and tell us something about this picture. This photo was taken at the launch party for the La Sardina line, when I was shop manager at the Lomography Gallery Store in Los Angeles. Taken on the La Sardina herself! It’s actually a good representation of the introvert/extrovert mix I spoke about in my love for the Lubitel 166+! Hahaha
Your message to Lomographers: When it comes to Lomography, or anything creative for that matter, just go out there and DO IT! The experience is yours and yours alone… get out of it exactly what you want and never take it for granted.
Thank you for your responses, Lindsay! May the online community be inspired by your passion for Lomography!
