Staff Picks: Tsvetina from the Community Team

Hello, dear readers! If you’re an avid user of social networking sites, you may have seen some of the work done by today’s staff pick. For this edition, we’re interviewing Tsvetina, one of the busy bees who keeps your newfeed updated with the latest Lomography news.

    Name: Tsvetina

    LomoHome: sladuredka

What you do at Lomography: Social Media / Community Intern

Interests: : I like drawing. I have never studied it and I am sure I am not even that good at it but I simply enjoy it. I love playing volleyball, I used to train in in my high school and later at the university, although not that seriously because of the intense student life. Since the last summer I am really keen on analogue photography but until now my level is still kind of low. I adore European cinema and I pick carefully what to watch. A bad movie can really make me angry.

Which Lomography product would you recommend to readers? LC-A and Horizon Perfekt.

    Why?
The LC-A it’s just classic. Well, everything about it makes it special – from its role in Lomography’s history to the unique Russian lens which makes every picture adorable. The Horizon on the other hand is for me the camera for panoramic shots. It is so easy to use and it its 120 degree range gives a nicely curved effect. It is really worth taking it on a vacation.

Please attach a picture of yourself taken with a Lomography camera or Lomography film and tell us something about this picture.
This picture is taken on the plateau of my home city Shumen, Bulgaria. It was Easter time and we had a 10 kilometre walk along the road to the old Fortress. At certain point I just felt like sitting on the road in the middle of the forest to enjoy the view. My boyfriend was lying on the road in order to make it this way so we were scared of the coming cars. But anyway, the photo reminds me of this day.

    Your message to Lomographers:
Read a lot of tipsters and be brave to follow them and experiment. Try out different cameras and if possible carry in your bag not only one, because for different situations a different camera could make the nicest effect.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, Tsvetina! Hopefully your positive influence on the community will shine through with this article. Until next time, Lomographers!
