  As you know, over the past year we've been bringing you the continuous adventures of "NickyDigital":http://nickydigital.com/, New York City's premiere scene-maker and party-hound, as he visits the best parties in NYC with a Lomography camera. Nicky has been out and about with several Lomographic cameras so far (see the links below for past Nicky Digital galleries). This time around, Nicky took a "Fisheye 2":http://shop.lomography.com/fisheye/ to the beach and on vacation. But of course, he also had it in hand when he dove into New York City's nightlife scene.   January 2009 was a huge month for Lomography in New York City. The first month of ’09 saw the grand opening of the ultimate Big Apple Lomography destination, the Lomography Gallery Store NYC! There is finally a place in New York where Lomographers can pick up any Lomographic product, or haul away rucksacks full of film before exploring our photogenic city.

  While some of the world was sleeping, Lomography USA was having the craziest party of the year. The new Lomography Gallery Store was filled to the brim with amazing Lomographers all there to celebrate the analogue revolution that has begun in New York’s historic Greenwich Village.

  On Thursday, June 19, 2008, the place to be in New York City was Reed Space in NYC's Lower East Side, where Lomography and "Staple Design":http://www.stapledesign.com/ threw a shindig of epic proportions to launch the flashy new "Colorsplash Chakra":http://www.lomography.com/colorsplashchakra/ camera. If you were there, you're probably in a few of these photos (sorry again for the point-blank flash assault), or better yet, you may have taken a few of them, because there were Colorsplash Chakra cams hanging from the ceiling, inviting you to fondle and paw them and hopefully bathe your friends in waves of color.
