Fuji Provia is always delicious when cross processed. Perhaps, like a fine wine, it gets better with age…

Provia is one of the most versatile colour reversal films. I know that many people would write about how cool this film is to cross-process but I decided to not do it. At the last second I resisted to the temptation and I developed it in E6 because even if I like the surprise factor I didn’t want to distort the colours of the selected theme.

As I am only entering my 10th month of shooting with my Holga, I consider myself to be a rookie of sorts. It didn't take me long, however, to discover the surreal and impossible beauty of slide film.

How do you make a dull day into a bright joyful photo? Load some Provia into your chosen weapon and let loose some wild colours.

What a film! Once i had finished scanning, I couldn't stop smiling, not only had my shots also produced those blues and greens, but the vignettes and contrast that had also been made from pointing my beloved Holga towards the sun made me fall in love with this film!

The Fuji Provia is one of my favourite slide films next to the Fuji Velvia. First of all: All Fuji slides are amazing! The colours are rich, saturated and simply brilliant! I always cross process my Fuji slides to give the pictures an extra kick of colour.

A few months ago I bought a pack of expired Provia in the shop... And I've got to say it was really worth it! I've tried it both in normal and cross processed using my 6x8 customised Holga.

Somewhere between the buckwild colors of Velvia and the silky understatement of Astia is Fuji Provia. You'll get magical color pops without making all of your pale skintones look insane. Everybody wins! Turns the usual fuji blue-green-red cream when you cross-process it.
