    Yashica Mat-124G
While visiting friends of my father, I stumbled upon a camera I had been looking for everywhere: the Yashica Mat 124G. Its previous owner sold it to me in near-mint condition for extremely cheap, and I already love it. Here are my first impressions.

It was love at first sight when I laid eyes on this beauty. The solid metal body, sleek lines, huge focusing screen and unique dual-lens look made me swoon. Give it a try, this medium-format camera could just be your blast from the past too!

The Yashica MAT 124G Twin Lens Reflex (TLR) camera is a fairly new TLR camera (made from 1970-1986). The lens on the camera produces stunning results and the convenience of a coupled needle-meter makes it a joy to use. It accepts both 120 and 220 film for 6x6 shots, so you get 12 or 24 shots on a roll of medium format film. G model has a all-black finish and gold-plated electrical contacts.
