I'm new to Lomography and I've been using the Smena 8M. I want others to know why I feel this camera is worthwhile. Don't think just shoot is not easy to apply to this kind of camera as it is very experimental. Just like doing an experiment when you got the variables to alter and adjust.
-
The perfect camera for begginers, and also for Lomographers who want to learn the basics of photography.

The most numerous, ingeniously simple, cheap and very popular, this Soviet camera for many was "the road to photograph."
-
The Smena 8M was an entry-level that was produced by the Soviet Union during the early 70s and is a manual toy camera -- A great tool for amateur photographers and to those who want to start photography!

This is a story (review) about getting to know my new friend that you may find familiar!

One of the cheapest, widely available toy cameras out there: the lovely Lomo Smena 8M. I've found that she is a seriously sentimental trinket. This camera is a great addition to any Lomographer's collection. And have you seen the price?

So, I grabbed my tools and tried to fix the Smena. Smena 8M was my first Lomographic camera and I still love it like in the first day.
-
I finally found the camera I've always wanted––I just didn't know it was the CMEHA 8M. It has the balance of control and lack of control that I want. And the details are charming.
-
Fairly inexpensive and easy to use, the Smena 8m provides excellent pictures no matter what your Lomographic experience is.

Looking for a camera where you have complete control with an easy interface? The Smena 8M is for you!
