La Sardina: As Versatile as Life Itself

We first met a year ago - me and the La Sardina. So I guess it is time for me to show you what is so great about it!

The La Sardina is simply a fantastic camera. What is so great about it? Well, that it is so simple. The fixed shutter speed and aperture make it easy to get the right exposure, even for photography newbies. All you need to do is to pick the correct 35mm film to matching the lighting condition:

The 22mm wide angle lens makes it easy to focus correctly. You have two options: close (indicated by the small bug for 0.6-0.8m, about an arm’s length) and distant (for everything farther away). If you are keen to experiment, the La Sardina gives you the possibility to take long and multiple exposures, and you don’t even have to use cable release.

When it gets too dark, Fritz the Blitz can help you out. You can purchase it either separately or in a kit along with the various La Sardina Flash Editions.

The La Sardina is available in dozens of variations, so you can choose your favorite. If that is not unique enough for you, you can get creative with the DIY Editions by making a unique design.

The La Sardina Dresses add some color and provide a new look to your camera with minimal effort.

After a year of using the La Sardina, my enthusiasm remains undiminished. Whoever wants to be inspired by the soft images full of saturated colors should definitely try this camera!
