Lomopedia: Olympus mju-II

Introduced in 1997 by Japanese camera maker and optical company Olympus, the handy Olympus mju-II (Olympus Stylus Epic in the United States) was the second model from the mju Stylus Epic series. This 35mm compact camera was equipped with a fast 35mm f/2.8 fixed lens, accurate autofocus with focus lock, and built-in auto-flash, all housed in a compact splash-proof body. Because of these features, the mju-II was a commercial success with around 3.8 million units sold, has been revered as a modern classic camera, and continues to enjoy a cult following among street photographers and compact camera fans.
