LC-A: Your Perfect Partner with Low Light

In the last Lomo-meeting in Barcelona i decided to take my LCA+RL. It was a little bit gray day, and i don't know what light conditions that i will find... It was a really good choice, you know why?

The LCA+RL is on my ‘Top five’ of my cameras, although it’s not my number one, that it’s reserved for my loved Lubitel 2. But my LC-A is my perfect light camera to walk with, when I don’t want be loaded down I choice that, and 99% times makes me happy!

Like I said, Sunday dawned totally, even cold. I had no hope for a sunny day so I take my warrior LC-A.

Once in the center of Barcelona the situation didn’t get better, even rained a little bit, but that didn’t stop us to started our photographic safari. Like I put a Voightlander Chrome ISO 100, I decided underexpose a little increasing ISO to 200, If I made doubles with MX of LC-A would be okay because they were correctly exposed.

When i finished the film, I take it to develop and the last step was scanning at home. I was surprised with the results! We shot photos with low light, because of the cloudy sky, narrow streets at Gothic neighborhoods, and twilight aren’t the best combination to probe my film Voightlander… But LC-A did his work and photos was great!

I know it has photometer but light conditions were wrong and I didn’t have a tripod either. We visited inside of Cathedral in Barcelona and other buildings at night, I don’t know why but I didn’t want use the flash… hehehe I know why now…

¡LOMO ON!
