Lomography CN 400: Always a Good Choice

If you are looking for a great film, you just found it: Lomography Color CN 400. Learn more about this color negative film and why it's always a good choice in this review!

I’m a little newbie in photography. Until march, I’d never used a analog camera. But, when I was living at Portugal, I bought an Oktomat. It was a good choice: A simple and fun point-and-shoot camera.

At the time, I didn’t know much about ASA. But after researching, I chose the Lomography CN 400 that would take good pictures during the day, when there was light. Fortunately, my research showed far less than reality! Good photos during sunny days, cloudy days with little light and also during the night, with the aid of flash. The most surprising was that indoors with no natural light, the pictures also come out pretty good.

Last semester, when I visited London, the weather was very cloudy. I took some photos with my Diana Mini and thought it would lose all. My mistake; all 36 pictures of the film were good!

I have used it with multiple cameras: with the Spinner 360, Oktomat, Diana Mini, and the Diana F+, and always get good pictures. I hardly lose more than 3 or 4 shots in a film. Buuuut, probably, these errors are my fault!

Some examples:

Yashica MD135, at night

I have 4 or 5 packs of Lomography CN 400 waiting to be used. This film is always my first choice. Try it! I’m sure you won’t regret it.

The Lomography Color Negative 35mm 400 film delivers vibrant colours and superb saturation and contrast. You don’t have to worry while you’re shooting, even under low lighting conditions. See our selection of Lomography films here.
