This year is the 28th birthday of the Lomo LC-A. My trusty little jewel is also 18 years old! So, I made a great "gift" to my camera, and loaded it with a rare expired film: a roll of Imation 100 ISO! I had great results with the film so check the photos out after the jump!
The Imation 100 ISO film may actually be a production from Ferrania. My roll was expired for 14 years! Some weeks ago, as an 18th birthday gift for my Lomo LC-A camera, I used this film for the first time. This roll was housed in a shelf of my photo shop in Como, who donated to me this wonderful film!
I used it during a short walk along the pedestrian way from my home to the awesome Villa Olmo in Como. After developed it, I have had a great surprise! I obtained great colors! The purple tones in the sky are wonderful! No cross processing!

Because this film was expired from 14 years, I selected the option 50 ISO on the Lomo LC-A (a long time expired film loses approximately 1 stop of sensitivity every 10 years).

Great and vivid green tones! And the LC-A vignetting add a touch of “magic” to these photos!
The last winter was very cold, so some trees are now dead…

The film has still a good contrast after so many years! And the pose latitude is still good!

The film held up well with fun results. :)

Imation's old logo was so cool! Memories of when I was little, computers were brand new, and my hometown was leading the way with 3M and Broderbund software! It's not analog I guess...but still!

Well...MECC if not Broderbund...oops.
