Looking for a good film to shoot with? Expired Fuji Superia ASA 100 can be the answer, especially when you run out of film throughout your holidays!
Last carnival holiday I went to three different places in my country but I run out of film after the first place I went to. So I decided to use an expired film so I could keep my memories from my trip to Cayo Muerto at Parque Nacional Morrocoy, Falcón state.
I was a bit afraid when I loaded this film into my Holga 135BC because:
1. I have never used an expired film before
2. I really wanted the pictures to be as nice as possible
My stay at the beach was between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., the sun was high and I wanted to get advantage of this, because I thought the film would’ve needed more light than usual. I was right in some cases but I found out after developing that there was maybe too much sun (though I like the pictures!).
BUT! I got some marvelous results when I avoided direct sun over my lens…and I loved this double!

Here are the rest of the pictures I could take (my film was only 12 frames) before the sun went down:
Too much sun as I said, closed my eyes in this one.
I hope you give a try to this film, it’s really amazing! But please, try to get them at least with 24 frames, 12 is definetely not enough!
