Is the LC-Wide Instant Kit just used for taking instant Photos? There's something more than that! Let me tell you about what it is.
When you look through the viewfinder inside the Lomo LC-Wide, you’ll find that it’s not as wide as 17mm, 103 degree. The original viewfinder is just about 80% of photos you will take. Sometimes you may want higher accuracy to prevent something you don’t want to get into you photo.

Besides the correction lens, another component of the LC-Wide Instant Kit is a external viewfinder. Although you are going to use 135 film, just try to put it on the hotshoe of your LC-Wide first.

On the viewfinder, “17mm 103 degree” is written. What does it mean? Take a look at the next picture:

Now, compare withe the view through the original viewfinder again:
The external viewfinder lets you know how 17mm looks like, and now you can have higher accuracy to guess what are you going to get in your LC-Wide lomographs!!!
It also gives a more classical look to your LC-Wide!
These tips are not applicable to close-up photos as there may have large optical difference between viewfinders and the photos you take.
Have a better use of your LC-Wide Instant Kit and take more great lomographs!
Of course, you can use the full kit to take instant photos too!
The Lomo LC-Wide boasts the newly-developed 17mm Minigon Ultra-Wide Angle lens. This 35mm camera wonder is the perfect companion for your photo expeditions. It produces eye-catching splashes of colour with astonishing saturation and contrasts with the added versatility of 3 different formats. Open up to a new photographic experience with the LC-Wide, available in our Shop.
