This must be one of the craziest monochromatic emulsions I came across with. Not only the title is a promise of an adventure, but the pictures are as well. In most black and white films that I have used, objects in the distance become darker. With the Eagle, the darkness flies away. In fact, it's the other way around. The further the object is away from the lens, the brighter it is.
This opens totally new possibilities for storytelling using a picture, especially for panoramic photography. A larger picture often has more depth and just more in the frame. Therefore, the white area is more dominant than in a small format. The Maco Eagle TS reminds me of a graphic novel or a remake of the movie Sin City.
The contrasts are very graphic and otherwordly. I did some research on this film and it seems that the Maco TS Eagle was conceptualized as traffic surveillance film. Maybe this why things in the distance are bright, because light is lacking at night.
The Maco is a film of the German brand Mahn & Co, who is known for fine chemistry, photographic materials, and medical products. The have an online shop, but the TS Eagle is currently not in his nest. So, if you ever get the chance to set sight on him, you should definitely get a hand on it!

sehr feines Gemisch! Muss ich mir auch besorgen.

A lot of traffic surveillance films have slight infrared sensitivity which helps cut through haze and illuminate the background.
I love some of your photos, the one of the stadium roof is amazing.

Brought some of them on ebay once. I really love this film :) Somewhere I read that it's just a Agfa APX 400 in a different can but I'm not quite sure about it...
