Photo Accordion Domino Edition: Great Addition for Desks

I bought two photo accordions to fill with photos for my parents Christmas present. I chose the Domino edition for my dad and the Möbius edition for my mom. I was pleasantly and unpleasantly surprised when they came in the mail.

These photos were taken with my phone.

These photo accordions look just like the photos included in the online shop, with great patterns and all. Out of all the accordions, the Domino Pattern Edition is probably my favorite because it goes so well with any color or type photos. I also like the elastic strap it comes with to keep the whole thing together.

One side of the accordion is white, and the other has the same Domino pattern as the covers, which are thicker than the rest of it. The contrast of the black and white with color photos look great together!

However, I had expected it to come with plastic sleeves for the photos. To my disappointment, the accordion was really just a long, thick piece of pretty card stock. I’m not entirely sure if it’s worth the price that I paid for though. But I ended up attaching the photos on with tape, which wasn’t too bad.

Even though it wasn’t quite what I had expected, the end product still looked pretty awesome. Hopefully, my dad likes it as much as I do! So if you’re willing to pay for these, they make great additions to any desk, counter, or dining table.

Editor’s Note: Although it’s not specifically mentioned that the Photo Accordions come with plastic sleeves, it’s a nice idea that we’ll propose to our product developers. Thanks for the tip!

The Photo Accordion, as the name suggests, folds and unfolds like an accordion. It’s a convenient option to hold up to 14 Lomographs in just one set! Available in 6 different sets and 3 different sizes to suit your needs, now there’s no excuse not to put your precious memories on display. See all Lomography stationery here.

Thanks for the review! This came with the sardina I got my gf and I was wondering how one was supposed to mount/frame photos.

@jeffr Yeah I thought it would've come with something to slide the photos in, but tape works just as well I suppose.

You can use photo corners like advertised in the shop or photo safe paste too.

"It’s a convenient option to hold up to 14 Lomographs in just one set" YUP, it implies it comes with an attachment to hold your photos. Sneaky Lomography.
