Sprocket Rocket Pops in Blue

A 35mm camera which exposes sprocket holes too. It now comes in blue!

When Lomography launched the Sprocket Rocket I thought “I need this camera”. First thing I liked about this camera was it’s capability of taking panoramic photos with it’s super wide angle lens. The multiple exposure capability, forever built-in into all Lomography cameras, does a great job. This camera has 2 zone focus features, from 0.6 – 1 meter and from 1 meter — infinity. I must say, on the down side of the lens, you can change between two apertures, one represented by a cloud (f10.8) and a sun (f16). Nice.

I love the shutter button. It reminds me of my Diana, as it has the shutter button placed on the lens, same as Diana cameras. Having two modes, B – Bulb for long exposures and N – Normal (1/100th second) for shooting under the sun, the Sprocket Rocket is a brilliant production from Lomography.

Well, I bought the black and the SuperPOP Blue Sprocket Rocket. The black one was just for fun. The blue is for pleasure. Bringing this camera in a blue cover is the best thing Lomography had done. It’s a perfect camera for taking pictures at any party, club or croud and in any conditions. As the name say, Blue color SuperPOPS. It’s a perfect color for any hipster.

I must say, this camera works great with the DigitaLIZA 35mm for getting your sprockets properly scanned. Another thing you need is a flatbed scanner.

Also, if you do develop at a 1-hour lab, you must tell them that you’re shooting with a Sprocket Rocket. The other day, I have developed a roll of b/w film (shot with a Sprocket Rocket) in a 1-hour lab, and the sprockets were faded. Till now, I still don’t know the exact reason behind it.

The Sprocket Rocket is the world’s first wide-angle camera dedicated entirely to sprockets. And now it’s available in the freshest hues—blue, green, orange, and yellow. The “Sprocket Rocket Superpop!”;http://shop.lomography.com/cameras/sprocket-rocket-cameras features super wide-angle lens that captures the entire width of film and scrolling knobs for easy multiple exposures. Available in our Shop.
