My First Ever Store-Bought Film: Lomography CN 800 35mm!

My main reason for buying this film was my camera's fixed aperture. Also, I was planning to take some underwater shots. I used an Aquapix waterproof camera for a trip to the beach!

I came across Lomography CN 800 35mm film when I went to The Click Shop at Kuala Lumpur for a trip. I asked for recommendation of films to use with my Aquapix Waterproof camera and edmund_li suggested the Lomography CN 800 film!

My first encounter was these photos! Taken at the Palace of the Golden Horses during the Johnnie Walker Black Circuit lounge. This was taken on evening time in low light so the result turns out to be darker.

One of the reasons why I love this film is the speed! See how it captured the droplets from a fountain?

My best ever result from this film was the time when I went to Damai Lagoon for the Flip Flops Kuching Beach Carnival. You can view my experience here.

Outdoor shots (most of them were taken during late afternoon, nearing nighttime):

I do use this film on a hot days too! I’m glad that the photos turns out to be not as grainy as I expected.

However, I did shoot indoors with less light and due to my point and shoot camera with fixed aperture, the photo turns out to be grainy and dark.

Overall, I’m satisfied with this film and might use it again with different cameras next time! Try it out today!

The Lomography Color Negative 35mm 800 ISO film is a high-speed film designed to bring a burst of vibrant colour, as well as great saturation and contrast, in all lighting conditions! Shoot in bright sunshine, grey days, indoors or at night with a flash. See our selection of Lomography films here.

I agree with you about the absence of grain in day shots with a good light!
