Fuji Reala 100 (120mm)

Fuji Reala 100 is a great "normal" color film! Here's a review of the 120mm with the Diana Multi Pinhole Operator.

When I looked at the Diana Multi Pinhole Operator I bought, I realized that until then, I have never used medium format films before.

The seller advised me to use Fuji Reala 100 and so I used it to shoot for quite a while. As the name implies, the colors are really realistic, without exaggerated red, green, or blue tints.

For capturing nature, this film is hard to beat. It also takes a long exposure time, but this is the common case in pinhole photography. It is very well-priced, as most slide films are more expensive than this. For a 5-piece pack, you pay €20 to 25, depending on where you shop.

At one point in time, I tried using slide film. Though the colors after the cross-processing development are not ugly, I have now bought a pack of this film — back to the roots, so to speak…

I just love the Reala film.. the colours are so real and beautiful! I'm sad that its now no longer easily available in nz. I'd stock up on this film if i ever come across it again!
