Rollei Pan 25: Superb Black and White Film

So you're looking for a rare black and white film? And you love to shoot long exposure? Why not have a try with Rollei Pan 25? It offers you everything you can ask for from a black and white film!

Rollei Pan 25 is another great addition to my film vocabulary. It happened half a year ago when I’m looking for a rare film to try. An online shop offered me Rollei Pan 25. I kept it for quite a long time and finally I had the chance to get my hand on it on my last holiday.

It’s a very high contrast film with almost no visible grain available. Keep in mind for those who are using toy cameras such as Holga, Diana , Vivitar UWS, etc. that you most probably have problems getting properly exposed frames, as these cameras have fixed shutter speed and aperture. I highly suggest this film to those who are using SLR cameras, rangefinders, and even the Lomo LC-A+ or LC-W cameras. *Bear in mind that the LC family have internal light meters but please be careful as you most probably will get shaky pictures.

Almost no visible grain
If you look carefully you can notice the insects. They are grey in color and the surrounding is green.

I loaded it in my Zenit APK and went shooting around 11am – 4pm only to make sure that I get proper exposure. I rarely used aperture 16 as I don’t have a steady hand or tripod, and the lighting condition didn’t allow me to do so. For those who loves shooting long exposure I think it’s a very good film for you guys. So what are you waiting for? Get it now!

Very curious about these super slow Rollei films. Would have love to see how long of an exposure you could get out of it.
