Fritz the Blitz Prêt-à-Porter

The last heat blast as this summer ended probably made me crazy, so I finally decided to write my first article for the beloved Lomography.

And what’s better than a pseudo-review on my last and fully satisfying purchase! I will not bore you with technical details, because it’s too hot and I just don’t feel like it!

Well I’m a happy owner of the brand new Fritz the Blitz flash awaited and bought immediately after the La Sardina Sea Pride, and I have to say that the two together look great!

But the peculiarity that struck me about this flash with its eye catching retro-look is the ability to fit, with the accessories provided, on any camera that has a tripod thread and hot shoe adapter (not always required, you’ll see!).

And just as when I was a six-year-old girl dressing her Barbie (oops sorry, I’m experiencing heat stroke!)… well… anyway… I put the new “dress” on all my Lomography cameras. These are the results, absolutely fantastic and fully working, I guarantee!

Observe how, with the help of the PC Flash Adaptor, the Smena 8M wears it perfectly!

Even my other my cameras wanted to experience the thrill of the catwalk:

And finally, all let loose by the frenzy of the event, a friend of mine got a bit cocky, and actually wanted to wear the new Lomography flash. Careful when telling the truth that it’s not a real camera, it may take offense!
