For smooth color and honest skin tones, I love Fuji's Pro 400H 120. It's fast enough for my Diana, and the true to life colors make my friends and family look like I remember them!

If film is our palette, then Fuji Pro 400H is the color I reach for when I care about skin tones. I know that crazy color shifts, wild splashes of flashed blues and reds, and pumped up contrast are as Lomo as an LC-A. But sometimes, I like my tones to be a little more as I remember them — particularly when it comes to portraits.

Not to say this film is muted at all! Sunny blue days have a particular pop to them, and greens are vivid and bright.

The grain is fine, as the “Pro” label indicates. So you get the benefit of fast film without paying much price in terms of quality.

I scan my own negatives, and this is easy to handle film with only a modest amount of curl. It’s easily available at most stores and fairly priced for a fast professional 120 film.

In summary, Fuji Pro 400H 120 is a versatile film with strong but true colors and a fine grain that holds up to any situation.

The Fuji Pro 400H 120 is one of the finest 120 colour films out there. You get the extra speed of 400 ISO while maintaining excellent fine-grain and banging colours of a slower film. See the whole range of colour negatives in our Shop.
