Fuji Provia 400X 120: Big, Beautiful Slides!

Want bold and beautiful colors without sacrificing on speed? Try this ISO 400 slide film!

If you like to shoot in low-light situations and love saturated color, then Fuji Provia 400X is just the film for you!

With its ISO speed of 400, it shines when used at dusk, in the shade or indoors.

It’s not easy to find a high-speed slide film with extremely fine grain but Provia 400X is up for the job! It can also be pushed if you’d like to shoot at ISO 800. This makes it great for cameras with a fixed aperture like the Diana or Holga which can’t really be handheld with slower film unless it’s really sunny.

Provia 400X, also known as RXP III, is gorgeous and reproduces colors excellently! It’s a tad more natural/less saturated than Fuji big sister Velvia and yet brings out tones more than Astia, or Kodak’s range of slide film.

You can use it to shoot humans, cos it doesn’t turn skin colors wonky.

You can also use it for landscapes / sunsets when you need a color boost yet not an overly punchy one!

You can also choose to tone it down when you feel like you want classy neutral tones reminiscent of negatives like Fuji Reala — just slightly overexpose the shot!

It’ll certainly make you think twice about slides vs negatives because you can have it all with Provia 400X! :)
