I never get a hand on the older batch of CT Precisa, but I'm really enjoying the green world provided by the new batch of CT Precisa.
Honestly, when I first used this slide film, what I expected from it is vivid and rich color, resulted from magical cross-processing. Now, forget about vivid and rich colors, because we already have a great Lomography X-Pro Chrome 100. Set your foot on journey to greenish and blueish world.
This new batch of Agfa CT Precisa is greenish and blueish, like no other film. it is the perfect film to capture skies and trees. Why? because of its tendency to give greenish and blueish tone.
The color from this film is rather dull, not vivid nor natural even though after cross-processing. This situation is quite ‘rare’ to happen on cross-processed slide film. For the punchy result and more rich color, I more prefer the fresh consumer film such as Fuji Superia, Lomography Negative 100, 400, or 800 or Kodak Gold.
For its availability and easiness to find. there should not be any problem, at least in my country, Malaysia. It is widely available in most of photography related shop, online or physical shop.
For the dreamy, greenish experience, I suggest that every lomographer try this film. It is a cheap slide film, with the unique effect different from any other film.
