Everyone knows how wonderful the multi-lens cameras are for the summer, and the results are always perfect when you provide the camera with an intense source of light. In the Summer it’s very easy, we must take into account the Winter sunlight, the first rays of Spring or the last remnants of Summer as in the mid October.
This light plastic camera has four panoramic lenses and two shutter speeds: four photos in two seconds or four shots in 0.02 seconds. The only drawback is that it hasn’t got a flash, so it’s only used outdoors. Sometimes, once in a blue moon, you can take pictures indoors but always using a high ASA like 800, and the result will appear grainy. A trick to ease some of the grain is use black and white film.
The SuperSampler was my first Lomographic camera, that’s why I have so much affection for it. My main obsession is the use of different color filters for each of its objectives. On the other hand, if you use each type of gel on the inside, you have to cut it to size and make sure the heat doesn’t create bubbles. Don’t forget to use at least 400ASA. If you skip the step of removing the bubbles you get the following results:
It is definitely a great user friendly camera with many possibilities. Just choose the speed, pull the ring and start having fun with this camera!
