To called this film a redscale is maybe a little bit inappropriate. Since this film has an unexpected wide range of colors, it will definitely give you shock therapy. I am aware there are some films that have similar capability like Nightbird. But, again you will be shocked with the results.
Did I mention this film will give you a shock?
It began when b0rn2b1ush granted me with this Rollei Nightbird Redscale 800 film. Well I am not that enthusiastic at first, since its a redscale film—whatever you do, you will get the same red pictures anyway. But, one night exposure gave me an extraordinary experience on redscale films.
I began with night exposure since its been said a “Nightbird”. As usual, I roamed around the street taking pictures on B mode in my Sprocket Rocket. Then, I found out that the Nightbird ‘flies’ with a wide range of color possibility. My guess is this film is being made with a wide ASA coverage, so its able to take shoot in the dark, therefore it has become super sensitive. The various colors, its look like depend on how long you press the shutter.

Cool! So which technique gave you which effect? Did the B mode give you those greens?

hold the shutter on yellow light for more than 1 minute, will be better if you take shot in the crossroad
