Well, at first I had some hard time deciding on which camera to go after using my LC-A. Most of us cannot afford the Lomo LC-Wide that is why they choose not to get one. Fortunately, I decided to go for the Lomo LC-Wide (with the help of my piggies).
I did enjoy it and will be enjoying with it more. It is divinely awesome as it is a newer yet a complete version of LC-A and LC-A+. The Lomo LC-Wide has new functions which possess a forceful attraction to attract all crazy lomographers out who thirst for wild experiments.
I decided to take my time taking the same pictures with these 3 cameras (LC-A, LC-A+ RL Wide Angle Lens and LC-Wide) at the same distance and at the same time of the day. I loaded three of them with the same type which was Agfa Pro Pack 200. I wanted to compare how wide can the LC-A+ Wide Angle Lens and the Lomo LC-Wide go while making the LC-A as the constant.
Then I start shooting! (The order is LC-A, LC-A+ Wide Angle Lens, and LC-Wide). Here are some of the results:

Thoroughly, I made my LC-A as the constant when taking all the pictures. I purposely took some pictures which may be in limited sight to compare the wideness of the Lomo LC-Wide and the LC-A+ Wide Angle Lens. In terms of the quality of the pictures, I found that the Minigon lens from Lomo LC-Wide is awesomely sharp.
The LC-Wide made the colors to be rich and sharp at the same time too. Not to be forgotten, it is a freaking 17mm wide angle lens. On the other hand, the LC-A+ Wide Angle Lens enables you to take wide angle but in different form of distortions. It differs a bit on the focusing zone which you can make close-up images as close as 0.35m compared to LC-Wide which can be done only as close as 0.4m. Personally, at first I kinda like LCA+ Wide Angle Lens because of the circular-like distortions that I can get in most of the pictures but when comparing the color saturation and the sharpness, I think the LC-Wide is a winner.

I don't think the contrasts and colors differ actually that much. Imo that comes from scanning, film, processing, whatever.
But great comparison, i wanted to do the same thing (LCA, W.A.L., LCW) inkluding the Horizon and maybe the Vivitar UWS.
Nice to see the differnce in distortion between the WAL and LCW!

Great review - definitely prefer the LC-W to the LC-A+ wide angle, really great optics to reduce the barrelling effect at a wide lens!

And how about the lens aperture? I know LCa has until 2.8 and LC- wide only 4.5 how is it work in a dark situation?
