The Drama Queen: Lucky New SHD 100 B/W

For me, there is a difference between color negative and B/W when it comes to taking a portrait or some scenes that that you feel has 'something' in it. This B/W film will give you a dramatic effect.

There are probably many B/W films out there, but I am pretty sure the price will make you become a drama queen even more. So I will suggest you to try Lucky NEW SHD 100…and let her perform her drama to us. Prepare your tissue folks!

I became an intensive user of this Lucky New SHD 100 since this film performs her ability for taking portrait. It’s scrapped all my assumption that this film is another crappy episode of B/W. Well, before I was already struck with Ilford or T-Max, as everyone I know has been amazed with them. But now, I have an alternative and I am satisfied. For taking portraits I always prefer to shoot in B/W, as it gives me more intimate nuance on the pics. Here some of the shoots:

Lucky New SHD 100, with high clarity, wide exposure latitude, and good physical characteristics, can meet various requirements such as high-temperature and high-humidity. It features processed functions of resisting adhesion and scratch, and widely used in portrait, landscape, journey and art photography etc. The use of a new type of silver halide grain emulsion, ensure excellent sharpness and fine grain even at enlargement.

Therefore, for your daily drama, you may want to use this film…

My greeting for all “Lucky Bastards” out there

I bought Lucky by accident the first time, but have gone back to it again and again because of the tonal range, the dark blacks and the lovely lack of grain for portraits... I just wish it handled the low light better...
