Why Shoot 4 When You Can Shoot 8?

While the ActionSampler, and the SuperSampler, are great cameras, why shoot 4 photos with the click of a single button when you can shoot 8?

I started off with an ActionSampler (and tested the SuperSampler at a workshop). It is a great lightweight camera to keep with you and pull out during any moment!

You can take pictures of something still:

You can create movement of a still object by moving the camera:

You can hold the camera still can take a picture of a moving subject:

No complaints there… until I tried the Oktomat!

You can do all the same things but with 8 pictures to show more movement, or lack of it!

(Ok, so a little tiny complaint when comparing it to the Oktomat: the ActionSampler doesn’t show as much action in 4 shots as the Oktomat does.)

So, which would you choose?

I choose both!
