Kodak E100VS: Intensive Cross-Processing

Kodak E100VS really lived up to its hype. It gives you the most vivid color and highest saturation among other positive films AND, you can double that if you cross-process!

Kodak E100VS ,The VS ,stand for Vivid Saturation. It was said that it has the highest color saturation among other Kodak slide film. Me being a curious Lomographer wouldn’t believe it without doing it myself. Well, I’ll give it a try.

During my trip to Taiwan last year,I equipped my LC-A+ with Kodak E100VS and shoot some pictures, then I cross-processed it in Hong Kong. Just when I look at the picture index, I was totally stunned by the color.

I think I can say that E100VS has got the most intense color among all the slide films I’ve used in the past! Whether it’s red, yellow, blue or green, it’s just outstanding. The contrast is just right and the detail is still there, one of the best slide films!

In this roll, the ones I like most were shot from a very dimmed room. E to C has pushed the contrast to the limit, it made the background more dark then it was. All the details from the lamp were shown, almost like you could touch it.

If you like heavy stuff, and cross-processing, then Kodak E100VS is the one for you!
