I ♥ RED: rollei nightbird 800

'The Little Prince' tells us that one loves the sunset so much when one is so sad... and yet seeing the captivating Rollei Nightbird 800 RED's effects on my Manila sunset just blows me away and literally keeps me in a happy bubble.

Do you remember ‘The Little Prince’ and the day of forty-four sunsets? It was said that one loves the sunset so much when one is so sad and yet… no one let the little prince discover Rollei Nightbird 800 just as i recently did. The range of the colors it can produce shone through when i loaded it onto my Horizon Perfekt and headed to shoot the world-famous Manila Bay sunset one February afternoon.

First came the relaxing greens…

Then the soothing tones of yellow and gold…

And just when the golden sun was about to kiss the sea’s horizon, a burst of purple, red, and orange just popped!

I have always loved RED and i have used redscale films before but the Rollei Nightbird 800 + Horizon Perfekt + Manila sunset = PURE BLISS!

Try it yourself and prepare to be pleasantly surprised with the amazing results!

    thanks again for the likes...
@bravopires: i used it with a horizon perfekt and kept the aperture and shutter speed settings the same throughout - the colors just deepened as the sun set that february afternoon. i have a couple more of this film - will use it with my LC-A+ and let you know how it goes. eager to see your results too if you do decide to try this. cheers!
