Lomography Color Negative 400: Quite Good in Varied Conditions

I decided to use the Lomography CN 400 ISO color negative film for the first time with my LC-A. Although I have some problems with my LC-A and some of the photos didn’t make it, I can say that the film proved to be quite versatile, especially at night and in dark conditions.

Combining the long exposure of my Lomo LC-A and the Color Negative 400 ISO, I could take some good night shots, even in dark conditions. Here are some examples of night shots in the city of Barcelona. The last one was taken from my car, when I stopped to take a pictureof the wok restaurant I always find on my way home, although it’s a bit blurred.

I had some problems with the shots on sunny and bright days (I really have to think what to do with my LC-A), but the ones on cloudy days were just fine. Again, the film is quite advisable for these situations, although I personally prefer blue skies on my lomo pics (and who doesn’t?).

Next time I use this film I’ll try to do it with a full working camera and check my results, but I’m quite satisfied with the work of the film in difficult conditions.

The Lomo LC-A is the camera that started the Lomography movement. With full controls and wide ISO range, this automatic gem is perfect for beginners and professionals alike. Get your own Refurbished LC-A in our Shop!
